I'm working on it, but this PC at work is slow at processing RAW files! I'll post the pictures as soon as they're ready...

Our computer room is in the ground floor of this parking structure (sorry about the camera's shadow -- I didn't notice that when I was shooting...):

And a bonus... The command center of the room I work in:

TPBM was also shot at night.

No PP was done on these. I converted straight to JPG, thus the low quality.

What does the limit/full switch on that lens do, Alan?

TPB shows some interesting architecture.

it's a half way limit.... if you have the lens at infinity and turn it on, it will focus from 1:2 to infinity only...... if you have the lens set past the 1:2 mark then turn on the limiter it will only focus/magnify between 1:2 and 1:1

EDIT: it really only applies to AF tho....... and I think i've had this lens on AF about 3 times :)

nice lionfish btw..... i really like these fish

That makes sense. But you mean you're manually focusing on flying bees and things? Isn't that a little difficult?

Thanks. They're nice fish to look at. I have a better one, but it wasn't in the first online gallery I looked in and I'm not at home, so I can't look through the pictures on my hard drives. :)

yes and yes :)....
basically if you want 1:1 lifesize reproduction you set the lens to 1:1....; then physically move the camera farther or closer to the subject to get focus (only talking about millimetres here.....

the flying bees need another technique...... what i do is wait till they land in a flower move in till i focus on the bee ... then move back a bit so it's focused in mid air...... then hold the camera there ............ take my eye away from the viewfinder and watch the bee......... as it takes off try and time pressing the shutter so it fires as the bee enters the area i focused on a few seconds earlier (it's a bit hit and miss but as you do it more it gets easier to time it right....

either that or i prefocus on a flower then wait for a bee to come along (if you watch them you start to see a pattern so you can start to guess which flower they will go to next

 600?

Oh, btw, the plaster like substance the spider was standing on was just a wall in my apartment. The low angle of the flash caused the surface to show its relief.
