Cat- there's something about the darkroom process that is just so fullfilling, so sensuous, for me anyway-- all your senses are involved and it is amazing!- Being in the dark and doing so much by touch, getting the film ready for the can, the measurement, the movement and sound of agitating it, the curtains of film hanging to dry. . . . =then seeing the result on the enlarger, working whatever magic you need to there, and finally seeing that image appear through the liquid in the pan. .. . yum! Beats photoshop all to heck.

I humbly agree Wu. That is why I still develop b&w films and pictures here at home. That image appearing in the photo paper as you slightly agitate the developer is a priceless feeling. I wish everyone here would experience that before jumping into the digital realm. sadly, those days are numbered. The world is going digital. So, I try to enjoy every moment while I can still buy film and developing supplies.

I'm good, just busier than normal at work. We had a guy leave for the Water Department so I'm having to cover a front desk while we wait for the new hire to arrive. It's a busy position so I have less time to be on. :(
