Where did you take this photo? It is really cool

Oh, thanks Renee, glad you liked it. I got when we went to the Bristol Reneisance Faire at the beginning of the month. There are several of these c
characters called Fantastics they won't speak or really interact much with adults, but; bring in the kids and their animations are, well...fantastic. They are great to photograph as their expressions are timeless.

Thanks. It is hard to hold a threat and compose at the same time. (that is a MAJOR crop).

Athena, BTW, I practice a "M" this evening as I was shooting some sunsets. Did not like what AV was giving me so I took matter into my own hands (don't say it I know that's dangerous).

It's also metal.

TPBM is a better example of 'fancy'.

Oooh I like it! That would have been a good one for the super macro guessing game! ;)

Cat, there is a nice straightening tool in RAW Shooter, unfortanetly, RAW Shooter only sees RAW format. But for your own pictures try using it. Definetly part of my work flow. Check exposure, curves, straighten, crop, convert....

yes, I noticed the focal length for it is 17mm. ;)

LOL - not dangerous. I doubt I would shoot sunsets in Av either - if I ever did such a thing that is. lol

Seriously, I've considered getting into landscape, an area I am NOT good at, but I hesitate knowing how addictive macro was for me. I don't need another photographic obsession!

goddess Athena...
what do you recommend for a walkaround lens then? my current is a sigma 28-105mm. I'd like to put this one permanently on my eos elan 7ne.
