Most desert plants are pretty sharp:

Thanks Lonnie but if it goes like TPBM has been running are we going to crash you?

I don't see why it would. Text doesn't take up much bandwidth. And any photos posted would have to be hosted elsewhere, because I don't have my forum set up for people to attach pictures, only embedding.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Well I don't know about dull, but it was pretty lifeless. Sorry I couldn't resist saying that. They do make the most of the ground in Hong Kong though.

TPBM offers a cheerful scene

I'd be worried if a burial ground wasn't dull! That'd mean ghostly activities!

I don't see these every day. The spinnerettes on a spider, webbing its freshly caught prey:

I'm not going to ask what you were doing that close to a spider's bumm.

Really cool shot. I've never seen spinnerettes before.

I actually haven't either. This was one of the 2+ inch spiders areund here, and a somewhat large bee had just landed on his web. He jumped over to it and started wrapping it up with web. Luckily I noticed the spinnerettes while he was tying up his prey, but it was a hard shot. The bug is jolting around, the spider is spinning it, and the wind is blowing. It was taken at 2:1, which made it even more difficult.
