I hold "super-shootouts" at my building... invite a dozen photogs and 2 dozen or so subjects. Two days of just getting creative and trying stuff out. A couple MUA's show up and we all trade images at the end of the weekend to better our portfolios. Mark Schmude did an excellent make-up job on Jean and Mandie... and Mandie was tearing cuz she had something in her eye.... I told her not to clean it out cuz it looked good! LOL I'm a bastard sometimes. :O

Yeah, it's a blast but exhausting. I love it because you learn so much from watching other people shoot and everyone who comes is very humble and willing to share and offer advice. That's why 4 times a year is all I do.

i've got a few more from that series that i think are better.. but thats the one i chose for tonight :P

thats what i hear. i just bought my first L lens today.. but had the wifeys permission.. i dont think she will be so quick to say yes on the next lens i buy 17-40L perhaps.. hehe.. that one might take a few years
