Mating Season For Tigers!!!!!

Tiger Beetles That Is!!. I found these as well. the Male appears to have a very secure grip, hope you like.(on a side note, this photo was taken in one of the wilderness areas they used for the movie "Dancing With Wolves")

Both lovely shots, I don't think the 2nd shot is poor at all. Is it me, or do they look like they're smiling whilst they're doing it?

Thank you all very much for the kind words on these. No, they didnt bite me, these guys do not appear to be aggressive towards humans, as long as you take their picture.

I always had a tough time shooting them, especially when they are mating. You make it so easy!!! Very nice pict!

Thanks Melvyn, I probably just had a couple of hopeful Stars. They were very calm cool and collected, and slightly distracted as well.
