Yep. Having finally processed 4 weeks worth of images, I've tried to pick the best of each spider and include a few shots for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

1. This cutie was at the park bench nearly 4 weeks ago. Lovely spider, grabbed about 40 or so shots of her (I suspect that it's a female). She even climbed on my hand for a minute and had a look around she was that friendly.

2. Same as #1, but different pose and lighting. This was in the afternoon, so the sun was moving across and lighting up parts of the park bench.

2 more images. 1st one is of the same spider as 1 & 2, the 2nd one is a close up crop of the mating jumping spider series that I posted some time back. Look at the size of the fangs!!!

2 more. Both of these are from the mating jumping spiders series. It was truly wonderful to witness this mating dance.

Final shot in the series. This was a jumper around the size of the house, taken a bit over a week and a half ago. This was the best of around 30 odd shots in terms of exposure and sharpness. Cropped of course.

7.

Thanks for viewing!

Lovely series- the first jumper is a real cutie and the second of the mating dance shots really does look like a shot from a ballet:)

Thanks Brian, it was truly amazing to see those mating jumpers. It was so elegant. The jumper from the first 2 was an absolute cutie. That's the first time that I've EVER let a spider onto my hand - I used to be mortally afraid of them. Since I've shown an interest in macros, and been reading more on spiders my fear is vastly reduced. I've even picked up a daddy long legs a few weeks ago. Of course, I still have a healthy respect for spiders ;)

Thank you Alan. #3 is most probably my fave as well, although #7 is up there too. It's amazing, having went from having problems getting pictures of single Jumping Spider to now seeing them quite regularly. As Brian and Mick said in another thread, it's knowing where to look.

Great series. I just love these jumpers. :) Although the IQ of the dacing shots are not at the same level as the others, I like them a lot. Great work! ;)

Yeah, I didn't do a great job focusing wise on the mating spiders images :( Oh well, there's always next time.

Lester, thanks for the kind words.
