This post is not intended to be viewed from a photographic standpoint, but from an artistic perspective. My sister sent me these snapshots of an artists work. THis lady sculps horsees from ordinary driftwood found in rivers around Arkansas, I believe. Unbelievable talent, some people have. Anyway, enjoy.

Wow - the first one looks like it is floating in mid air. They almost look like the insides of the horse - you are right about the talent.

Wow! I Would you happen to have any info on the artist? I wouldn't mind owning a piece
like that, depending on the price, of course.

She is called Heather Jansch. I have seen her work at the Eden project in Cornwall, UK and wish I had money to buy it.

Her website is here: http://www.jansch.freeserve.co.uk/ (external link)

It never ceases to amaze me the creativity some people possess. Who would have thought to turn driftwood into sculptures like that, let alone having the talent to be able to do so.
Superb work! I'm sure if I saw one from a distance I would have to look twice before I realised it wasn't real.
