Wild Rose

Went for a little walk and came across this wild rose, the are beautiful shrubs but they can take over a yard real fast. Best to keep them in the wild. :lol:

thats a beautiful picture Sandy
I love the dark background. the blossoms are lovely:cool:
gorgeous shot . the petals especially came out beautiful

I wonder will the flowers be berries eventually ?

no, sorry Sandy, I mean rose hips and that kind of blossom look like this when the berries are either coming or going
not while they are in blossom.
so you won't find any berries right now

I thought that's what you meant, just thought you might have called them something else over there, still not sure, I have a Rosa Rugosa in my yard that has HUGE rose hips.

Thanks Damian. I had a friend who gave me the best example of a WEED, "If you're growing tomatos and you have a rose come up in the field, that rose is a WEED" :lol: :lol:

Your expossure on the whites is....spot on,which has resulted in a darker bg for a good effect,thats my boy.;) :D

Very nice, Sandy. I've seen those on some of my hikes but never knew what they were. Now I know. Don't remember, though...are they thorny like the garden roses?

Thanks Leo, yes some of the wild roses have thorns, the white ones thorns are no where near as big as the full roses are but the can still bite. :lol: :lol:
