1. This first shot is a wider shot of a caterpillar of some sort, was munching on the little insects closer to the main stem. I'm not entirely happy with this shot, the stem seems to have been highly reflective and bouncing a lot of light around. I had a play with FEC on this and a fair number of shots but couldn't get it to expose satisfactorily.

3. A long Cicada shell on a tree trunk. Love the bronzey colours in this. Amazing isn't it (the skin)?

5. Closeup of Image #4. Not as sharp as I really wanted, very disappointed that I didn't nail this, had plenty to lean against etc. Only excuse was that it was early in the morning and I hadn't had enough coffee. I also had Angie nagging me to get a move on and get into the shower ;) What is it with women and showers + mirror + makeup when there are plenty of other mirrors in the house? Why do women nag us poor men ;)
