i really wish that i could help you but i have no experience with printing. what you can do, is use an online printing service or go to a photo lab and have them print it for you. this way you should be able to know if the problem is with your printer (most likely) or with something else. another thing you need to do is make sure that your printer and screen are calibrated and use similar profile. sometimes things would look great on your screen but your printer will print it in different colors. btw, here are 2 links that you really need to take a look at. the first one is the FAQ in our post processing section which has many links regarding color profiles and printing:

https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=138533

this link is the link to the processing forum itself where you can find many threads dealing with similar issues and they also have many people that should be able to help you:

https://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18

again, sorry for the no help thing. printng is a very complicated issue and many people really have no sufficiant knowledge which might explain why your thread had no responses..

What are your printer settings? What software are you using? Have you calibrated your monitor?
Sorry but it is difficult to advise without this info.
You could try simply increasing the brightness of the image in your editing software and then print. Is there any image at all?
