I took this picture of my dog and my wife really likes it,It looks fine on my pc but as soon as i print it it goes really dark any ideas plz

blonde Buck Naked Floozies 8,405 posts Likes: 1 Joined Oct 2005 Location: Boston, MA More info | Jun 17, 2006 16:04 | #5 i really wish that i could help you but i have no experience with printing. what you can do, is use an online printing service or go to a photo lab and have them print it for you. this way you should be able to know if the problem is with your printer (most likely) or with something else. another thing you need to do is make sure that your printer and screen are calibrated and use similar profile. sometimes things would look great on your screen but your printer will print it in different colors. btw, here are 2 links that you really need to take a look at. the first one is the FAQ in our post processing section which has many links regarding color profiles and printing:
