Here are some shots of Bridal Veil creek in Yosemite National Park. These were taken with my camera (well, the 70-200, really) on a tripod.

John, It's obvious in the 2nd shot that bright sun was hitting some of the area. I'll say you did well to compose these without a lot of hot spots. The water looks really good, and you got good detail on the rocks. I've always found it tough to shoot in that area with the sun out, so a big "Well Done".

Thanks for the comments, Stan. Yes, there were many shafts of light streaming through the trees (pun intended). I don't have it posted anywhere, but the second shot looks better after I cropped it in a 4x5 ratio and trimmed off most of the blown out tree.
