Spider on Cactus

Here is one I feel is worth sharing. I was out and about today and was simply shooting this prickley pear cactus and there just happened to be this spider on it. I was glad it turned out as well as it did. C&C welcome.

Nice crab spider and well camoflauged on the yellow cactus petals.

Excellent capture of this tiny little grab spider and glorious colour of the cactus flower. Good shot Jeff.

Yes,a shot of a big interest i would say.
IMO though,it looks slightly overexpossed and i`ll tell you why.
In the shadows just under the flowers i can see some perfect detail when on the flowers themselfs some of it seems lost.
Have you done in raw? if yes can you underexposse it a touch and see if i`m right or talking c***?
One last thing...have you ever tried the prickley pear`s fruit? the ones just under the flowers?
They have their own unique flavor,i think they are lovely Jeff.

Yeah the kit lens just doesnt cut it. Its all I have for now. I think I will be getting the 70-200 f/4 very soon.
