That is a wee bit early even for me Marie :-)
I had just left Maureen's car at the shop a block away and was headed to the coffee shopwhere my daughter works. This bar was already doing a brisk business.
The building is original and is the oldest draft in town.

very pleasing shot - full of character! I am starting to realise that, although the US is a Baby of a country in terms of 'history' (no thousand year old castles) - there is a remarkable and delightful variety of 'modern history' (not a term that sounds correct!)
Anyway, great shot....

When I worked the graveyard shift, my coworkers would frequent these places for our "happy hour" and have breakfast and a beer before heading home.

So . . . IS it the coldest draft in the west? That's a bold claim.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Anamorph you are absolutely right. We just returnee from a cruise to the Mediterranean. The Greek islands, Dubrovnik, Kusadasi, Venice, Rome were so amazing. Such a rich and ancient history. Our history is much younger and of quite a different nature.
No John, these are early morning visitors. Here the liquor laws require that no alcohol be sold between 0200 hrs. and 0600 hrs. I think that Las Vegas is less disingenuous, alcohol is available 24-7.
B Rubble some of these patrons could very well be on their way home from the graveyard shift :-)
Steve, I don't know if it is the coldest draft in the west but it does have the reputation for the coldest draft in town :-)
