Turns out I as doing a double blind trial accidently- there are 2 sigma 105s #2 & #3 :oops:

Fully agree - sometimes start to onder if one lens is sharper than another but don't think there is any difference betwen the 105 and the MPE-65 at least upto 1.5:1
