I was at a family get together this weekend using my 100mm macro to take candids of the family and kids, in between I couldn't resist grabbing a few quick macros.

#1 A bit soft due by ambient light to the amount of wind

I agree. There is something about natural light macros that is so appealing. I just never get to do them ............ living in Scotland!

The definition of the flowers in #2 (goverfly) is amazing. Great bokeh too. Nice shots!

Nice shots Lester, the first 2 look like nursery spiders. I really like the look of the first hoverfly shot (Image #3), it just looks really nice to my eyes.

I love the last one :) great shot. It's a shot i always try to get but never succeed, all the bees round here are too big for the 65mm mp-e and I can't afford any other macro lenses at the mo'.

Thanks for your kind words folks.
Natural light is so nice, I must try and do some more. I was monopod'less for these ones but except for a couple of cases the light was good.

Thanks Andrew, the MP-E is a bit of a tough lens to start macro on I must say. I often switch to my EF 100 for the bigger or less aproachable bugs.
