Great capture- amazing pattern on the carapace- is that the right word? :)- and I thought all the giant beetles were black.

I am from the good ole country, I live in the state of Mississippi.

He was about 1 and 1/2" in length. I was walking about and saw something moving across the lawn. When i looked down and saw this thing I realy didn't know what to say... "BIG BEETLE"
