Dear everyone,
I have some question about how do you make children smile for taking photograph. I have to take some pictures of my friend's children. They are around 5-10 years old. Please give me some suggestion.

Talk to them - ask questions as your snapping like hows school, do you liek to draw etc. i just purchased a fart machine lol well ok it was for ME - i have been calling my friends and using it (I am 24 and female....i WAS the class clown in school haha) anyway i also figured its a good investment as boys especially think its hilarious at age 5-10, ill use that and make them laugh That is... one of the best pieces of advice I've seen on this forum. For some stupid reason, my boys love that. Oh, and the lightsphere is really silly looking. My sons think I'm joking every time I take it out. Doesn't make them laugh, but they get that look like, "Mom's crazy again!" Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!

i am only just starting out with portraits - i photograph my neices and nephews all of the time, but have only just started charging clients for my portraits ( I work mainly in weddings but wanted a sideline too)
