I actually like this quite a bit. The interplay between the sun and the ripples on the water is really nice. On the down side the dark shadows on the top, especially the one on the top left, bother me a little bit since there seems to be no detail whatsoever there (at least on my monitor that is)

I think I'd like it better just of the water....as an abstract.

I can't figure out if it does anything for your or not either.

For me, it's ok. Nicely exposed, interesting lighting and color, but not really interesting.

Thanks, I was trying out some curves adjustments I recently read about for a cross processed effect. Definitely an improvement over the original.

Somehow I think if the bottom step was not so distorted by the water (two long diagonal lines instead of one) it might add something. (just a random opinion).

I like the shot a lot. And especially think that your processing choice was spot on.
Well done!
