Everything is "Vintage" these days so I thought why should my images be any different. I love playing around in PS and really dig what you can do to an image with a few dozen masks, paint brushes, and layer masks...

This is my version of Vintage Fashion photography.... Comments are welcome, however it is my vision for the image...

I think it works. It might be a bit too saturated for vintage, but it works. Maybe not if you consider 1980 to be vintage .

EDIT: I mean if you were going for 1980s look, then the saturation works.

Yea I'm going for the brand-new "Vintage" look. Like that new pair of pants you buy for $60 that have rips all over them :)

I agree that the colour are bit more saturated for vintage , maybe more like a urban style or grunge style, the concept is good,

I don't think I ever considered myself to be grunge... that's a cool tag line...

"Grunge photography"

yeah, when VH1 plays I love the 80's and you remember every single video and what you were doing when you first heard that song....

photo: i love the look. i agree that it fits more into the grunge or urban acid type feel. I really do like it though.

I agree with desaturating the image for the best effect.
