Technically this is quite good. A little dark perhaps, but the darkness reflects also from the kid's face. He looks so serious!

The balance is on the bottom part of the image, perhaps because the right ear is not somehow connected to the picture, and it dominates the eye. I'd maybe try to fill the whole face into frame, or both ears.

The reflections from the eyes are quite good: I wonder if it would be possible to make reflections which would make the eyes look like cat's eyes? :)
