Cheers, but it was taken with an 1DmkIIN and a 70-200mm IS lens (no Macro) at about 25 foot away and the shot has been cropped somewhat (although is still at 100% image size). It was probably travelling at about 30 - 40mph and I had the IS setting on "2" in AF using the centre focal point. Hardly Macro Conditions

Nice shot, I'd agree that it's a macro shot as well.

I really like #4 in the series. Almost looks like a fighter jet. That was a nice capture.

BTW I also like your name, its very original and very appropriate!

Canon Five Dee (w/ two marks) and Canon Five Dee (w/ one mark), Canon Twenty Eight to One Hundred and Five lens, Canon Fifty millimeter One point Eight lens, Canon Eighty Five lens, Canon Five Hundred and Eighty flash and generic extension toobs.

Wonderfull in-flight shot, must be hard to do.

I think we consider anything of small animals, insects and flowers as macro although strictly the definition is magnifications of 1:1 to 10:1. Under the strict definition most shots other than with the MP-E 65mm would not qualify, anything under 1:1 is close-up, but who cares we have great shots and great feedback on this section.
