First Macro Attempt with Tubes

Might have been easier to start with a non-moving target. C&C welcomed.

Welcome to "tubes"! Nice capture.

I got my first try too here... and it sure gave me a headache... but the learning is quite worth it

Nice shots Dan, #1 is nearly there, just slightly missed focus on the eyes, but other than that good colour, sharpness, DOF, composition and bokeh. #2 is missing the face, so not a lot of interest in that shot I'm afraid! It's like a portrait of a human missing their face. I've found Bees to be very hard to shoot, they simply do not stand still. My suggestion is to shoot at half size and crop.

Dan, it's a beautiful looking Bee! Bees are really hard to capture images of from personal experience. They're always on the move!
