I had an opportunity to shoot at the Metro in Chicago and I thought for sure the lighting would be great. Well, the lighting guy was sleeping or something b/c he never changed off a horrible red scheme with an annoying crowd wash. I really struggled to get decent pics. While these are not technically perfect, I tried to capture the mood and expressions of energy.

Second has a good feel although I prefer a little less microphone. I also like the last ... drummers are notoriously hard and while I agree with Rene about the color, the action and drum set capture are superb.
