Will the Kenko extension tubes get me into macro photography? Look at my gear and let me know how good I can get in there. Macro isn't my passion, but I'd like to at least take some interesting shots.

LordV Macro Photo-Lord of the Year 2006  More info | Jun 22, 2006 10:17 | #2 Certainly will- use them with your 50mm or 70-200- you'll get about 1.3:1 with a full set of tubes and the 50mm- main problem will be fairly close focus distances (around 2") http://www.flickr.com/photos/lordv/

Should have gotten off my but and ordered them 2 days ago so that I'd have them this weekend, but it's an airshow weekend anyway. Also ordered a 4GB Ultra II so I now have 6GB of in camera storage!
