G'day,

Today I thought I would try something different, decided go go no further that 10 metres from my front door with my
tripod, camera, 100mm macro lens and kenro rings.

To start with I shot a couple of flowers the spotted a bee so was chasing that ( will need some practice at that!)
T
hen I spotted this spider feeding on a bee. Shot some with just the macro lens then bunged on the kenko rings and
had some real fun!

I realise my dof is a bit small but never shot with the rings before. I love this lens, and especially with these
kenko rings. Here are 3 shots.

I was going to play with my MT24-EX flash but it was a little too bright, however looking at the shots, could have done with some fill flash.

Comments and criticism welcome good or bad.

For the record he was between 1/4 and 1/3 of in inch in size.

Regards Darren

Hi there,

thanks for looking Brian, it's the first time shooting macro insects and using rings, wow is it a challenge. I didn't know what to focus on and how the rings effect DOF. I thought the shots would be bigger, will have to look at that next time. I have the 3rd shot as my desktop and looks great large, will give me night mares though lol
