Very nice but we normally would like to know the name of event and venue and some discussion about your involvement (I sound like an echo of myself!) The images are a bit dark and reddish but I expect that's how it was.

These were taken at the Florida Theater in Jacksonville Florida. I should have posted them under the original post.

It had more info and yes the lighting was a little red. It was a ballet and all the other dancers had red costumes. It was professional stage lighting and they always go for mood and atmosphere. Thanks for looking

Very nice but a tad soft. What equipment did you use?

I used D Rebel XT and a 85 1.8. ISO 800 at 200-250, 2.2-2.5. I usually have a monopod with me, but I didn't, so that might account for the softness. I did a little sharpening maybe I'll try a little more.

They might be just a bit out of focus. It's hard for the camera to track focus in such low light, and f/2.2 doesn't give you much margin for error.

When you resize shots for posting here, it generally helps to sharpen a bit after resizing. Use a radius of 0.4 or 0.5 for images to be viewed on a monitor.

I also meant to add, your daughter's smile looks great... some girls have a smile that crosses over the pit and stops the audience in its tracks; she appears to "have it". Her posture is excellent too - you must be very proud.
