Bold Hummingbird Moth

This moth was knocking ten bells out of the flower, it was all over the place with no chance of a shot so I held the stem still while I got off a shot;
it didn't seem to phase the moth at all.

Great pics Mick, :D I love the inclusion of the hand in the first image, It really gives the moth a sense of scale, looks like you got the shutter speed perfect too - and with only one hand.

Thanks for the comments, I'm really glad I bought the Pro1; it's an excellent little camera and doesn't take up much room when I go on my little rides.
