Wow, love these shots racketman! That's a Robber Fly in the first shot, right? I always find them hard to ID for some reason. The fly shot is great as well, sticking its head out saying "you call me?" lol.

Thanks for comments; yes i'm sure thats a Robberfly with its lunch - possibly Neoitamus Cyanurus.

Woohoo! I got one of the suckers right! Usually I get them all mixed up with a few of the other very similar looking ones like Craneflies...
