Kind of a low key Blues Festival in a historic place

29 years ago, this venue (sans big screens and satellite dishes) was ground zero for the Monterey Pop Festival-the first of its genre.

Today a crowd ready to have a good time, came to the 21st Annual Monterey Blues Festival. Some have been coming for years with their toys

Others, with a modern homage to the kaleidoscopes and colors of the sixties, brought their modern toys in festive trappings
