This is gonna sound stupid (he should have done his research), but other than FF vs. 1.6x, what does the 5D have as far as features that the 30D does not? I was reading about it on a Canon info site. Looks like a bit of a difference in settings but not too terribly complicated. I hope. Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

As for the parameters/picture styles, how do you mean "different"? Different from the 20D, or from the 30D, too? I know the 30D settings were different than the 20D. Noticeably so.
