Hiya To All,
Don't know if anyone remembers ?? but I took some shots of some weird luminous green eggs that I found under a Eucalyptus leaf, no one seemed to know what they where, I did say watch this space, so I've been nurturing them in a jam jar like an old mother hen & they're just showing signs of life, don't worry if they survive I will release em.
I took these shots through the glass jar so I guess that why the lighting & focus bla bla are all rubbish.
Cheers for now
Mark

I remember the original shots Mark - looks like you're going to be a dad really soon ;) They also look pretty nice 'n' sharp to me and well lit.

Excellent shot- glad they are still going, but how did you stamp a kite mark on each one?

Hi there,

cool shots! can you tell me how big they are? I may be able to help you ID them. Its amazing what creatures we have here in Australia and I would has at a guess 80% bite!

Regards Darren

P.S. I think the brown dots are eyes and the black pinchers!

Great captures! The heads of these tiny guys/gals look very much like praying mantids to me. Just can't wait to see the birth of these beauties :) Make sure you take some pics of the babies ;)

Hiya Brian,
Very good, kite mark, mmmm!! lol
Hiya Darren,
Thanks for your comments, those eggs are tiny about 1mm max, I was wondering if they may be spotted bush crickets as I also seem to have many of those in my patch.
Hiya Leorooster,
Am bustin a gut to see what it is they may be, can't be long now, jus hope they survive long enough.
Hiya Jeff,
Just my luck for them to come at midnight eh, keepin fingers crossed that they arrive at a sensible time.
Cheers for now all
Mark

You better watch out there is no imprinting going on like with geese for example or you'll have praying manitses (or whatever the plural is) or some other creepy crawlers following you for a while ;)

Can't wait for the mystery to continue, please keep the updates coming.
