Leo: Hope you get some soon. They are about a month late here due to the wet weather.

Jeff: I caught a Broad-bodied Chaser emerging a couple of days ago and so made a point of getting back. I expect they will all be out soon.

When is the best time of the day to photograph dragons/damsels?

Thanks Bea.

As to the best time of the day I am no expert, these are almost my first shots. I was up there after lunch when they were very active, but unfortunatly on the wrong side of the water, I don't have access to the other side. Perhaps in the morning they will favour my side.

I know the books often say early moring when they can't fly, that assumes you can get to where they overnight.
