The wild poppies this year all seem to be nice & dark...
Shame I haven't come across any when the sun's been shining! (That rare thing of beauty!)

Thanks Lee, much appreciated......:)

These were literally at the side of a field next to a road. I could'nt really get much of a shot with the field as it was crisscrossed with power and phone lines but the poppies were great.

Touch wood, I've not had much of a problem with the rain this year.....(that's the kiss of death now!!)

Nice shot Roger...poppies are all I can get at the moment but I love these wild ones...great bokeh...I would try and crop the bottom a bit to just have that great gradation without the "dark bits" (sorry about the technical talk:D )...thanks.

I was really pleased with this one as is came out so good, I love the deep red of poppies and was hoping to find a spot where they were mixed with the crop. Unfortunately, they were all at the edge and I could'nt get a good panoramic shot.

Still there's always next year!!:)
