Ladybug and a Fly

Took these whilst in France, I can't recall ever seeing a Ladybird in this colour over here in the U.K.
I think the fly is of the Hover variety? Tell me if I'm wrong.

I love the fly, Mick! The ladybug has a bit of a blue colorcast :(

Not suprising really, I'd just rescued it from the swimming pool and put it on the top inflatable ring part (that's the big blue bit). Although it had crawled about 3 feet from where I'd originally put it it was still a little wet, hense the blue reflection on parts of it.

Good shots-#2 is a drone fly or close relative (it is a hoverfly)
