visited a local coastal area today(arbroath) and decided to point the camera (s2) away from the seabirds now and again, i was pleasantly surprised myself, the first pic is of the bonnie scotish thistle, looking at the pic on my computer reminded me they are loved by ants

second a field of wheat (i think) that has a hypnotic efect if you sit too long

third is a wild poppy growing through a wire mesh fence i think it was trying to distance itself from the surrounding weeds but it knew at heart it was a lost cause

fourth is something that is not often seen by the casual public around tayside but probably a common sight to sea fisherman, its certainly a first for me

the grass shot is interesting...kind of freaks me out if you stare at it long enough.
