Got this Philippine endemic yesterday at Subic rainforest. It was perched atop a 30-foot electric pole, and I had to back off a bit to improve the shooting angle....;)

20D + 500 f4 IS + Canon 1.4x, 700 mm, f/7.1, ISO 200, 1/640 sec, manual exposure, hand held:

Great shot. Nice and sharp even at 100%. Must be rough having to lug around that 500 all day. ;)

Nice job hand holding that 9 pound lens ( + camera and 1.4X) at 1/640 sec. Beautiful shot of this very impressive looking eagle. I still remember the posting you put on here several months ago of this very impressive eagle in flight.
