I am going to see the US Womens National Team (soccer) play Canada on July 30th. I am planning on taking my 70-200mm F/4L and a 1.4 TC since the game is being played at 1:00 pm.
I usually and plan to shoot Av but wanted to know if anyone had a good feel for a minimum shutter speed to stop the action? I am planning to try to keep it at 1/1000 or faster but wanted to hear from folks with more experience.
) when you have lens stoped down. And one more suggestion... use manual instead of tv or av. With sport it really makes difference.
