The flashing low battery light seems to come on relatively quickly after that (guessing less than 200 shots). This is with about 80/20 24-70mm/70-200mm IS use.

I have 4 batteries total, and though it may seem like overkill now, I'm sure they'll all come in handy on long trips to places where power sources might be limited. One of the biggest selling points for me when I got the mkIIn was the battery life. ~Spaceships Don't Come Equipped With Rear View Mirrors~

I have it set for a 4 sec. preview and sleeps at 8 minutes. I cycled it the other day after 2000 shots but the battery indicator onboard the camera had yet to come off of full. __Bryan__

I shot this past weekend and got close to 1700 before I changed batteries and it wasn't indicating dead yet. I have the 1DMKII not the N series but I would assume they are close to the same with the N being better. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Lynn Suggestion..........Glue your exposure comp to +1/3 to 1/2 over and you will nail it 95% of the time 7D ......waiting on the 5D3

My mkIIn just doesn't seem to underexpose like everyone says. I leave my EC set at 0 and adjust accordingly. ~Spaceships Don't Come Equipped With Rear View Mirrors~
