There are several colour variants with violet, pink yellow and green thorax. Males have a blue thorax. I have taken pics of all the variations but nothing like this quality. This is a mating pair of bluetailed with the male on top. Odonata are the only creatures with two sets of gonads. Impressive little devils huh?
