I have noticed quite a few of these by my apartment.... they are fairly aggressive towards the local squirrels :)

Don't have my books with me.. but in the Mockingbird/Catbird family to my eye,. and the behavior is certainly Mockingbird like too. There's one that dive bombs my 100 pound Golden Reteiver.. :) :lol:

mockingbirds are definitely aggressive and will attack just about anything, its just the yellow chest that is confusing me...

Looks like a Western Kingbird to me, but I don't have any first-hand experience with that species so I can be sure.

It doesn't look like the mocking birds we have around here so I have to agree with Rubberhead.
