Which contemporary photographers do you like?

I'm new to this forum and am trying to get a sense of what photographers people admire and why.

Some of my favorites are Lee Friedlander, Robert Frank, Cindy Sherman.

Friedlander because of his combination of poignant subject matter and rigorous composition. Frank because of his bold artistic risks and his ability to keep making art through tragedy. Sherman because of her great conceptual abilities.
