My evening in the backyard with my dog (CC!)

Took out the 20d and the 50/1.8 tonight and got a few shots of my dog in the backyard.

This would be Shae, my 4 year old black lab, and a puppy for life.

Feel free to critique :)

Very beautiful dog, I especially love the third and the last one, great shots

(you have very level grass too, good job!)

Very nice shots. Of the 2 "teasing" ones, I prefer the 2nd. Personally, I prefer a 3/4 angle to the head rather than straight on like in the 1st one. I just feel it reveals more of the personality of the face. I have to agree with Adam about the blurred backgrounds. The brightness and blur level is distracting. Easily fixed with softening and/or smudging. Love the dog.

Nope, I didn't do any adjustments to the pics at all, other than a bit of unsharp mask, and the border :)
