I am finally thinking of creating an online proof gallery to make things easier for customers. At this time I don't need to accept payment online and will be protecting each gallery for the specific client.

Has anyone seen any software packages that can help automate something like this? This can be very time consuming especially when you have 300 proofs for a client. Doesn't have to be too fancy but not ridiculously simple.

Thanks,

you can create a web gallery straight from photoshop (file>automate>web photo gallery) - they're not the prettiest of things but certainly do the job.

I have looked at that, but to be honest I was hoping for something that looked a bit better.

i use smugmug and i love it. you can set each gallery with its own password so you can give that to the client. i also order my prints from them and have been extremely happy with the quality...
