you can find alot shots over there in this forum, but can you afford 1.4 version? I am thinking to buy it later even i got decend 1.8
maybe the price is different but all advice 1.4 over 1.8 version, but both are so sharp and superb. You can try 1.8 as it is cheaper than your clothes, hehe

Here's some pics from my 30D and my friend's 50mm f1.8. I just got myself the 1.4. But the 1.8 is the best bang for your buck.

Here's one from my 30D with the 50mm f1.8. For $80 out the door it's a pretty good lens. Beats the kit lens lens, hands down, but no where near as nice as my 300mm f2.8 IS.
