actually, not a lot of pp was needed, I may have overkilled on using the healing brush, but besides that I just used the color picker to enhance the eye shadow thats it. Here's the original, please show me what you guys would have done, I value all of your CC, good or bad, it only makes me want to become better.

The original still shows her eyes like a mannequin :)
I think the edit is quite good.

It's all in the bag.

Hi, first post on this forum. I'm new to this and SLR photography in general, but after seeing these shots I rushed out to my local camera store to pick up one of these lenses. Unfortunately they were sold out, but I ordered one online that actually ended up being cheaper than what they had it for :) It's nice to know I can get excellent shots without breaking the bank on a lens! Nice job, and thanks for all the posts with this lens!

Welcome to the forum and be sure to post some of your 50mm shots here in this thread as you begin to use it. Online retailers will generally have lower prices than local camera stores or chain stores. My local store is where I play with goodies - but never buy. ;)

Thank you Mediation and Loony. This is such a great lens for the money, I don't know if I'll ever step up to the 1.4...(yeah, right)

Jason C - would you care to elaborate on lighting and exif? That is unbelievably sharp!
