Jason C - would you care to elaborate on lighting and exif? That is unbelievably sharp!

I apologize for not stating that in the first place:

Self Portrait
1/50th sec @ f/2.8
ISO 400
Tripod used
Existing window light only
Remote shot using HP 9335 Laptop,
and one long wooden spoon to take the exposure.

I'm taking Photo 10 at a community college in the evenings, and the current assignment lighting. The above pic of me is for the window lighting only portion of the assignment.

Time was around 4:45 PM, the window light was coming in the east facing window. So, the main light was being reflected from the building east of my window and into my room.

Exposure was full manual, Adobe RGB, Sunny WB with Picture Style custom defined for "zero" enhancments. PP using DPP, switched to monochrome, edited an "s" curve and added a little sharpness.

there is no way my copy is that sharp at 2.8 makes me want to get it calibrated. do you have to physcially prove your lens is off, or can you just ship it to sigma and they will work on it regardless? Jason, you got an excellent copy friend!

Haha! Oh shoot, I was thinking about my sigma 24-60mm. I need to spend more time away from the archives

Anyways, thankfully I have a 50mm 1.8 on order, so I will be able to take the shot regardless.
