Mar 04, 2009 15:08 | #3932 Just tried a similar shot manual focusing, can't tell any difference really. But i have an uncalibrated monitor and not the best eyesight in the world!! [Stupid question] Does the diopeter adjustment have any bearing when autofocusing? [/stupid question] Another question while i'm on it, what's 'Bokeh'? from reading comments etc. i take it to mean a blurred background, but what's good and what's bad 'Bokeh'? Instagram

I know you're supposed to use MF for this lens, but I find it difficult. The focus ring is just too fidgety!

It's definitely not my eyes then! It's a tiny, tiny aperture. And on top of that, an $90 lens. Karizmatik | Twitter

I read that MF is better since it has horrible AF, but for me AF seems to work better because the focus ring is tough to control

Bokeh refers to the quality of the background blur which is totally subjective..Buying a lens just because it has nice Bokeh is counter-productive.. Jurgen
