It's a Nikon snap on hood for the Nikon 50 F1.4 Ai. Since both the filter threads are 52mm they fit just fine on either lenses. bigrig wrote in post #10848623 Well there's your problem! If I hadn't attach the hood on the lens, it might not have been ripped out by my friend.
