Beetle ID please

This little fellow was walking down my wall this afternoon; it's a bit smaller than a thumbnail. I hadn't noticed the hooks on its feet until I processed it in Photoshop, do all beetles have hooks. An ID would be appreciated, thanks in advance. C+C Welcome.

Its a Weevil but dont have my guides to hand for the exact species.

Excellent shots. According to my book it's a vine weevil Otiorhynchus sulcatus.

Prefer #1 myself, better exposure.

I would not have thought this Beetle was the same one I saw that day.......your graphical knowledge amazes me......well done.
